Stephen Curry (vs MIL, DK - $10,700, FD - $10,900) – The Warriors recently stated that they felt disrespected by the Bucks actions after Milwaukee ended their undefeated season. That means the starters should play a few extra minutes tonight even if the game gets out of control early. Curry will be looking to avenge their only loss, and he is arguably the best offensive player in the NBA. He should be able to score at will tonight, and he has as much upside as anyone on the slate. The Bucks are running a short rotation because of injuries, and Curry should be able to wear them down as the game progresses. He can be used in all leagues tonight.
Ricky Rubio (vs SAC, DK - $7,200, FD - $7,200) – Rubio is surprisingly cheap, as he’s coming off a near quadruple double. In his last game, he scored 9 points with 10 rebounds, 12 assists, and 8 steals. His upside is out of this world, as he can clearly contribute in each of these four categories at a high level. He gets a great matchup against the Kings, who have been one of the worst teams in the NBA against point guards this season. He’s a fairly consistent player, and this game should be played at somewhat of a fast pace. Rubio can be used in all leagues, as he has a great combination of consistency and upside.
Jrue Holiday (at PHO, DK - $5,100, FD - $5,300) – There are very little reasons to avoid Holiday tonight. He’s underpriced on both sites, and he has been playing exceptionally well recently. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 16.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in only 25.2 minutes per game. He’ll likely see closer to 30 minutes tonight, as his minute’s restriction is supposed to continuously increase until he can play a full games worth. This game will also be extremely fast paced, and the Suns have really struggled against point guards this season. Holiday is a great salary relief option tonight.
Draymond Green (vs MIL, DK - $8,800, FD - $9,100) – Green has been unbelievable this season, as he has posted three triple doubles in the last 10 games. A few games ago, he went 5x5, as he scored 24 points with 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 blocks, and 5 steals. He has as much upside as anyone on the slate, and he is at a significantly reduced price. He was one of the only Warriors to play well against the Bucks in their first meeting, and his minutes should be safe again tonight. He can contribute in all five categories at an elite level, and he’s one of the safest options with the best upside on the slate.
Carmelo Anthony (at PHI, DK - $8,300, FD - $8,700) – Melo has be on fire recently, averaging 26.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game over his last three games. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Sixers, who have struggled to defend anyone this season. Melo’s price is still extremely low for his recent production, and he should have no problems scoring tonight. This game will also be played at a slightly faster pace than most of his games, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
Kenneth Faried (at UTA, DK - $6,100, FD - $6,600) – Faried is surprisingly underpriced on both sites tonight. He had been playing limited minutes in his last couple of days because of injury, but he looked healthy against the Wolves, and he has now had a few days to rest. His minutes should be back above 30 tonight, which gives him great upside. He has a tremendous rebounding rate and he shoots a high percentage because he takes so many shots right at the rim. The Jazz will be without their best defending big man and rebounder, which bodes well for Faried tonight. The Jazz will likely try to slow the pace down tonight, but Faried should still be safe enough for all leagues tonight.
Andre Drummond (at CHI, DK - $9,100, FD - $9,000) – Drummond has a fair price tag on both sites tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Bulls, who have a small frontcourt and have struggled against big centers this season. Drummond is the best rebounder in the NBA, and he posted a huge 20/20 double double against the Bulls in his last game. Drummond can be penciled in at a double double tonight with a few peripheral stats, but he also has the ability to go for 20 points and 20 rebounds. His upside is undeniable, and he can be used in all leagues in this great matchup.
Hassan Whiteside (vs TOR, DK - $6,600, FD - $7,200) – It’s tough to get a gauge what the Heat are going to do with Whiteside each night, as they seem fed up with him, but also should be showcasing his talent for the trade deadline. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Raptors, who have an aging frontcourt with Valanciunas out, and they will be playing in the second game of a back-to-back. Whiteside’s price is extremely low because he has been playing limited minutes, but he has played at least 26 minutes in three consecutive games, and he has great upside. He can score, rebound, and block at an elite level, and Whiteside makes a great tournament option if you can stomach his potential downside.
