Chris Paul (at CHA, DK - $9,200, FD - $9,000) – Chris Paul’s price is on the rise, but he’s still a bit too cheap, especially with Blake Griffin out. Over the last 10 days, he has been on fire while averaging 22.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 2.8 steals per game. Those numbers would be even better if he didn’t play limited minutes in a blowout against the Wizards in his last game. He has been playing exceptionally well recently, and Paul is matchup proof right now. The Hornets will likely try to slow the game down, but Paul’s usage rate is so high he’ll still get his opportunities for fantasy points. He can be used in all leagues.
Ish Smith (at SAC, DK - $5,600, FD - $5,200) – Smith is a must start tonight on both sites, as his price is ridiculous and it’s only a matter of time before it skyrockets. He has a clear path to minutes as the Sixers point guard, and the offense runs through him. In his last game, he scored 22 points on 21 shots, while adding 3 rebounds, 11 assists, and 2 steals. He was posting huge lines with the Pelicans when they gave him big minutes earlier this season, and that will continue with the Sixers for the remainder of the year. He gets a great matchup against the Kings, who have one of the worst defenses in the NBA, and Smith can be used in all leagues.
Devin Booker (at SA, DK - $3,900, FD - $3,600) – Booker is the youngest player in the NBA, but it’s clear that the Suns are planning on giving him big minutes. He’s an elite scorer, who is athletic enough to add a few peripheral stats when given the minutes. Booker is averaging 6.1 points in 14.5 minutes per game this season, while shooting a ridiculous 57.1% from behind the three-point line. He should be playing around 30 minutes per game from here on out with Eric Bledsoe done for the season. The matchup tonight isn’t ideal, but he has great upside, and his price is only going to be this low for so long. He’s a good GPP option.
DeMarcus Cousins (vs PHI, DK - $10,000, FD - $9,800) – Cousins stats are a bit skewed by his last game, in which he was in early foul trouble and then was ejected for two technical fouls. He somewhat took a swing at the referee before Rudy Gay pulled him away, so check and make sure he isn’t suspended tonight. If he’s starting, he makes a great option in all leagues, as he scored 61 points with 22 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 blocks, and 1 steal in the two games prior to his ejection. He gets a great matchup against the Sixers tonight, who are one of the worst defenses in the NBA, and they have no one who will be able to slow Cousins down. He can be used in all leagues unless he’s facing a punishment by the NBA or the Kings.
Kawhi Leonard (vs PHO, DK - $8,600, FD - $8,800) – Leonard has been playing exceptionally well this season when he’s given a full games worth of minutes. The Spurs have been blowing teams out, and Leonard has been sitting. They will take on the Suns tonight, who will be without their best player. This game could certainly be a blowout, but Leonard already dominated them for 24 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block, and 4 steals. He has also been on fire recently, as he’s averaging 19.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game over the last 10 days. The Suns love pushing the pace, and if they keep this game close, Leonard could be one of the best players on the slate.
Nerlens Noel (at SAC, DK - $5,900, FD - $6,000) – Noel’s season has been filled with disappointments, but it looks like he’s back in business with Ish Smith back on the team. He is a significantly better player with Smith on the court, and it isn’t a coincidence that he is coming off two great games in the first two games Smith has played with the Sixers this season. With that being said, Okafor could return tonight, which would move Noel to power forward, and he would become less of a factor in the offense. If Okafor plays, Noel is a GPP option, but if Okafor is out, Noel can be used in all leagues.
Nikola Vucevic (vs BKN, DK - $7,700, FD - $8,200) – Vucevic is still entirely too cheap on both sites. He has been on fire recently, as he’s averaging 23.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game over the last 10 days. He gets a great matchup this week against the Nets, who have really struggled against the center this season. Vucevic dominated them in limited minutes earlier this season, and he’s finally fully healthy and playing heavy minutes. He’s a great option in all leagues tonight.
Brook Lopez (at ORL, DK - $7,000, FD - $8,300) – Lopez has a fair price tag on FanDuel, but his DraftKings price is a bit of a joke. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 19.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game. He’s a big man that can contribute in all five categories, and he has recorded a double double in four of his last five games. The Magic have played well against centers this season, but Lopez is matchup proof right now, as he’s as hot as any center on this slate. He can be used in all leagues.
