NBA Player Breakdown 1/26/17

As NBA is a game where last minute real life changes are made before tipoff, always monitor breaking news up to last second

Point Guard

Cash Plays:  Eric Bledsoe, George Hill

GPP Plays:  Jameer Nelson

Game Theory: In a high scoring game, its a good idea to get Bledsoe in your lineups. He's done it in previous match ups against the Nuggets and he'll do it again. I was one day off last week about George Hill, but today, I think I'll be spot on. Get George Hill in your lineups. He is playing the LAKERS! Jammer Nelson is a good GPP play if you need to spend less at this position. He's starting again for the fragile Emmanuel Mudiay.

  • Fades: Russell Westbrook

Shooting Guard

Cash Plays:  Devin Booker, Lou Williams

GPP Plays: Seth Curry, Gary Harris

Game Theory: Devin Booker has had two great games agains the Nuggets in the past. This game should be no different as each team will put up over 100 points. Lou, sixth-man OG, had a terrific game last night. His momentum should roll into tonight's game as they take on the Utah Jazz. Seth Curry plays too many minutes to not have him as a cheap tourney play. He needs to only hit 20.5 fanduel points to hit value and he's about done that. Gary Harris is a very interesting play tonight. He recently got back into the starting rotation from being hurt and is looking to have a big game against the Suns.

Small Forward

Cash Plays:  Paul George, Andrew Wiggins, Gordon Hayward

GPP Plays:  Wilson Chandler

Game Theory: I really like Paul George and Andrew Wiggins playing against each other tonight. Their date tonight should be stat filling. Lakers have a tough time defending the small forwards in the league. For that reason, I think it is safe to say that Gordon Hayward will also have a pleasant evening. Wilson Chandler has had nice stats against the Suns in the past. He hasn't had any big games recently, but something tells me this matchup will allow him to.

  • Fades: Harrison Barnes

Power Forward

Cash Plays: Nikola Jokic,

GPP Plays:  Derrick Favors, Julius Randle, Enes Kanter, Georgui Deng

Game Theory:  So here's the deal with tonight's power forwards. There aren't any safe picks for a cash game besides for the 6'11 Serbian beast, Nikola Jokic. Everyone else would be considered a GPP play because none are consistent enough in their play regardless of their matchup. So good luck on the dice roll for this position tonight.

Center

Cash Plays/GPP Plays:  Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns, Tyson Chandler

Game Theory:  Rudy Gobert should have a solid performance tonight. The Lakers will NOT be able to contain him down low. Towns is another nice pick but his $10,600 price on fanduel might be a little tough to budget for. And last but not least, Tyson Chandler! His past few games have been phenomenal and he should continue to produce. With his low ticket, I wouldn't fade him.
