[WEEK 11] FanDuel & DraftKings Value Players

Top WR vs CB Analysis

FanDuel Value Plays

Last Week

QB Trevor Siemian ($7200): 16.8
RB Jordan Howard ($6900): 8 (ankle injury)

RB Darren Sproles ($5100) 11.6
WR Jordan Matthews ($5900): 10.3

WR Emmanuel Sanders ($6900): 7.9
TE Zach Ertz ($4600): 8.5

Quarterback ($7300 or less)

Blake Bortles ($7200) @ DET: The king of garbage time may not even need garbage time this week to have good fantasy production. The lions are terrible against the pass and this sets up as a nice spot for Bortles. He has looked terrible out there this year, and it is certainly a risky play in my opinion. But anytime you can expect a shootout against a team that is the second worst in the league against the pass, I will be interested.

Running Back ($7000 or less)

Latavius Murray ($6400) vs. HOU: Latavius Murray is officially the workhorse back in this Raiders offense. He gets an easy matchup this week against the Texans who are ranked 28th in the league against the run. Last week against Denver in a similar matchup, Murray had a huge game scoring 31.20 points on just 20 carries. Murray is shaping up to be a nice value for this week.

Todd Gurley ($6700) vs. MIA: If you told me at the beginning of the season that Todd Gurley would get below $7000 this season, I would have called you crazy. But here we are with Gurley’s price being $6700 in a fairly decent matchup against the dolphins. The Rams announced that Goff will finally get his first career start, but under Jeff Fisher I expect Goff to serve only as a game manager. I know this Rams line sucks, but $6700 is just too cheap for a running back of Gurley’s skill.

Wide Receiver ($7000 or less)

Rishard Matthews ($6000) @ IND: This game should be one of the highest scoring games of the week. It has been proven that Rishard Matthews is a favorite target of Mariota’s He gets a really good matchup this week against a Colts team that is awful against the pass. You can safely fire him up again this week in all formats.

Donte Moncrief ($6500) vs. TEN: Here is another receiver from the same game, but the other side. Moncrief is a preferred red zone target of Andrew luck and the prices on these two guys are too cheap. The titans are also one of the worst teams in the league against the pass and stacking both sides of this game is not out of the question this week.

Tight End ($5000 or less)

Kyle Rudolph ($4900) vs. ARI: Rudolph could score a touchdown any week and he is a very touchdown dependent player. The Cardinals are no team to mess with, but the Vikings may end up having a little success over the middle throwing to Rudolph. He consistently gets red zone targets and I am certainly not too afraid to go to the well here again even if a tough matchup.

DraftKings Value Plays

Last Week

QB Marcus Mariota ($5700): 28.6

RB Darren Sproles ($4300): 15.6

RB Jonathan Stewart ($4900): 3.9

WR Rishard Matthews ($4200): 15.3

WR Kenny Britt ($4900): 20.9

TE Kyle Rudolph ($3600): 17.9

Quarterback ($6000 or less)

Colin Kaepernick ($5200) vs. NE: Many people hate this dude, but let their biases take over and miss out on a great play this week. Kaep has a very good matchup with the Patriots who are 26th in the league against the pass. Colin also has a ton of upside with his legs and can potentially get the 100-yard bonus for rushing yards this week. I think this is a very sneaky play that can pay out huge this week.

Running Back ($5000 or less)

Todd Gurley ($5000) vs. MIA: If you told me at the beginning of the season that Todd Gurley would get below $6000 this season, I would have called you crazy. But here we are with Gurley’s price being $5000 in a fairly decent matchup against the dolphins. The Rams announced that Goff will finally get his first career start, but under Jeff Fisher I expect Goff to serve only as a game manager. I know this Rams line sucks, but $5000 is just too cheap for a running back of Gurley’s skill.

T.J. Yeldon ($3500) & Chris Ivory ($3600) @ DET: Pay attention this week and se if there is any talk on who will get more work. Personally, I like Yeldon more because of this passing game work and on a full PPR site like DraftKings, every point is key. The Lions are horrendous against the run and pass catching backs and I expect the running back with more work to have a solid game.

Wide Receiver ($5500 or less)

Rishard Matthews ($5100) @ IND: This game should be one of the highest scoring games of the week. It has been proven that Rishard Matthews is a favorite target of Mariota’s He gets a really good matchup this week against a Colts team that is awful against the pass. You can safely fire him up again this week in all formats.

Eddie Royal ($3400) & Cameron Meredith ($4100) @ NYG: With the suspension to Alshon Jeffery. Somebody needs to catch Cutler’s throws. The giants are a decently tough matchup for receivers, but the volume alone should be enough to justify these price tags. I prefer Royal, but both of these receivers are too cheap for the volume they will get.

Tight End ($4000 or less)

Julius Thomas ($3600) @ DET: How many Jags are too many?  The Lions are just a terrible defense overall, and anytime I can get a tight end for $3600 who gets decent work and red zone targets, I will be interested. The Lions bleed points to tight ends and Thomas should have a good game this week.
