FanDuel Value Plays
Quarterback ($7500 or less)
Colin Kaepernick ($7300) vs. NYJ: The Jets looked absolutely horrible in their MNF game against the Colts in Week 13. They are ranked 29th against the pass and I expect them to become the worst by the end of the season. Kaep always has a high floor with his legs, but he can actually throw against the Jets. Don’t get scared of his game log last week because it was in terrible weather in Chicago. I fully expect Kaepernick to bounce back this week.
Running Back ($7000 or less)
Jeremy Hill ($6900) @ CLE: Jeremy Hill did not have the best game last week against the Eagles, but they are a good run defense. He gets one of the best matchups possible this week in the Browns. The Browns are ranked 29th against the run and Hill is the guy in Cincinnati now. The Bengals should be winning this game easily and Hill should easy have 18+ touches.
Frank Gore ($6000) vs. HOU: $6000 for Frank Gore is too cheap. He has been hitting his value all season for $6300+. Anyways, these two teams met in week 6 and Gore ran for 106 yards. Now I’m not saying he will repeat that, but all he needs to do is score 8 points to hit his value and I think he easily gets that against the Texans who are ranked 18th against the run.
Wide Receiver ($7000 or less)
Brandon LaFell ($5800) & Tyler Boyd ($5700) @ CLE: I know I mentioned Hill above, but these two receivers are just too cheap in too good of a matchup. Their prices still have not adjusted to the A.J Green injury and they both are in great spots this week against the Browns. The Browns are the second worst team against the pass this season and both of these guys should easily hit their values.
Doug Baldwin ($7000) @ GB: One of these weeks I will get him right. I think this week will be it. Over the last three weeks, the Packers have given up 23 catches on 30 slot targets accounting for 345 yards and 4 touchdowns. Baldwin plays against the Packers and will be in the slot this week. Enough said.
Tight End ($5200 or less)
C.J Fiedorowicz ($5100) @ IND: He has been a very consistent option in the Texans offense averaging about 7 targets per game. This week, he gets a very easy matchup against the Colts who are ranked dead last at covering the tight end. Fiedorowicz had his biggest game of the season against this very Colts team in week 6 scoring 17.50 points. He should be a safe value play at the tight end position in week 14.
DraftKings Value Plays
Quarterback ($6000 or less)
Colin Kaepernick ($5800) vs. NYJ: I am recommending him on both sites because he is too cheap. The Jets looked absolutely horrible in their MNF game against the Colts in Week 13.
Running Back ($5000 or less)
Darren Sproles ($4400) vs. WAS: This is not the best matchup for Sproles due to the fact that the Redskins are very good at covering running backs in the passing game. However, I think the Eagles will be down in this one, leading to 7+ targets for Sproles. On a full PPR site, Sproles is always on my radar because of his volume.
Todd Gurley ($5000) vs. ATL: Remember that first round pick of season long? Yeah he is now $5000 now on DraftKings. This price is so tempting and I am not even sure if I can pull the trigger. The problem is, the Rams offensive line is absolutely horrible. We have seen players run on the Falcons though since they are ranked 26th against the run. I am not sure if I have the guts to do it, but this could be the week for Todd Gurley.
Wide Receiver ($5000 or less)
Pierre Garcon ($4200) @ PHI: Garcon is averaging 8.33 targets per game in 2016 in games where Jordan Reed is out, 1.63 targets more than his season average. If Reed were to miss again in Week 14 like I expect him to, Garcon should have a nice game. He should line up with Nolan Carroll most of the game and I love picking on him. If Reed is out, I am locking in Garcon in all formats on DraftKings.
Brandon LaFell ($5000) & Tyler Boyd ($4900) @ CLE: Same reason as above on FanDuel value plays.
Tight End ($4000 or less)
Antonio Gates ($3800) @ CAR: This is a little bit of Narrative street, but Gates only needs two more touchdowns to tie Tony Gonzalez for the all time lead in touchdowns by tight ends. We saw the Panthers get exposed on Sunday Night by Jimmy Graham. Like I said, this is a narrative street play, but I would not be surprised to see Gates have a good game here.
C.J Fiedorowicz ($3900) @ IND: See FanDuel values.
