Tom Brady (FD- $8,700, DK - $7,500) - Let me just state right away I’m writing this for everyone who is thinking he isn’t #1 this week. Tom Brady, aka literally in my eyes the best QB to touch the field, and now is coming back. This isn’t nice Tom Brady either, this is “You made me look like a fool, now I’m going to torch the field with my dad Bill” Tom Brady. I don’t I need to go into detail to explain that Browns are literally equivalent to shit (excuse my french), but they are worse than a top tier college defense. Belichick will have no problem running the score up against A.) A team that fired him and B.) A quarterback who wants to literally murder anyone. They can be up 30 points and Brady throwing a bomb to Hogan is a high possibility. Fading Brady this week has its ups in GPP if rust ends up being a thing, but the end of they day it's either him or Hoyer in cash. If you fade both you might have baddddd time in cash. But Brady on the board is still the best value on the board for his cost.
Other Options: Aaron Rodgers, Derek Carr, Ben Roethlisberger, Carson Wentz
CJ Anderson (FD - $8,000, DK - $6,900) - CJ has had a quiet past couple weeks, but here is a team that can crowd the box and it won’t matter. CJ has had that issue the past couple weeks as teams know he is the real threat on the ground. But the Falcons fail everywhere you can imagine that no matter what they do they aren’t going to stop CJ. This is exactly like last week where I don't think vegas has this right as we are putting the top offensive vs the top defense. Falcons are going to score and I hope people don’t think this isn’t going to happen. Broncos are going to be put in a spot in where scoring a lot of points is a need and their best offensive player could excel in this role. High in both cash plays and GPP plays.
Other Options: Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, Frank Gore, DeAndre Washington, Jordan Howard
Brandon Marshall (FD - $7.600, DK - $7,100) - Brandon Marshall for his cost is in a great spot against a secondary that still has problems containing the pass. With Eric Decker being out this leaves Marshall again in a spot to receive a majority of the targets and hopefully Decker’s normal red zone targets. Only scary thing about Marshall is Fitz, who continues to struggle out there. They probably will be playing catch-up in this game against a top-ranked offense, so will have many chances for Marshall to succeed.
Other Options: Odell Beckham Jr., Jordan Matthews, Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, Steve Smith Sr., Julian Edelman
Zach Ertz - (FD - $5,600, DK $3,500) - Here is probably your most owned player of the week at the Tight End position on both sites. On DK he is the #1 cash option at TE. Detroit continues to have difficulties in containing any TE as they have already given up 6 TDs to opposing TEs this year. After missing the last 2 games due to injury he is looking to bounce back with hopefully no set backs in the game. I wouldn’t be opposed if you stack Wentz with him and that’s it, giving you a decent amount of money to work with at each position.
Other Options: Zach MIller, Delanie Walker, Jordan Reed, Dennis Pitta
Minnesota Vikings - ($4,800, DK - $3,400) - Going up against the Texans at home should be another easy game for the Vikings defense to contain. Clearly, that stadium is going to give Vikings that extra bonus in helping make QBs have issues hearing on the field as Eli and crew did this past week. Brock has had issues in the past with turnovers and will probably be good this week for 2 INTs against a strong secondary in Minnesota. High cash option this week and a very safe play if you wish to avoid the whoever is against the Browns.
Other Options: New England, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Buffalo
