[WEEK 6] Top Player Breakdown

WR Snap Count and Snap Percent

Cam Newton ( FD - $8,900, DK - $8,100) - Cam is coming off a concussion and having to watch his team being lost without him. This puts Cam in a place where he knows he needs to pick it up or this team might not even make it to the playoffs. Last year when Cam was in the Dome he dropped a season-high 5 TDs in a shootout of 41-38. With this game being the highest O/U of the week at 53, you should expect this game to be back and forth battle again. It is no surprise that the New Orleans continues to have difficulty in the defense department. On DK/FD I don’t like him as much as others for cash, but as GPP he is full go. As far as stacking goes I wouldn’t force if you don’t have to, but if you wanted to take a gamble with Ginn with him I would like it.

Other Options: Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Marcus Mariota, Alex Smith, Tom Brady

Running Back

LeSean McCoy - ( FD - $8,200, DK - $6,900) - Oh Shady. What a spot for him this week against the 49ers in Buffalo. 49ers have given up over 146 rush per game so far this year to opposing teams, ranking 31st worst. Vegas is in love with the Bills currently with them giving 9. I think that is a bit much honestly, I never underestimate Chip Kelly randomness sometimes. Shady has been just pure dominance though this year where if he pops off 100 yards with a TD or two is completely reasonable. One of my favorite cash options this week.

Other Options: Todd Gurley, Le'veon Bell, Christine Michael, Lamar Miller

Wide Receiver

Jarvis Landry (FD - $6,900, DK - $6,800) - Landry is coming off a terrible week against the Titans where some people expected him to excel. Luckily due to that game it might turn people off him this week. Before last week he was averaging 10+ targets a game. I would expect to see 10 again this game as they are going to have to be playing catch up. Pittsburg might be looking good as far as winning and scoring points go, but don't be blind by that as they still have a terrible secondary. Being 30th in receptions and 29th in given yards still makes any top targeted receiver a threat to them. I don’t like Landry as a cash option as much as the others in his price range, but as far as GPP goes I think he is in a great position.

Other Options: Antonio Brown, A.J. Green, Odell Beckham Jr., Jeremy Maclin, Brandin Cooks, Amari Cooper

Tight End

Dennis Pitta ( FD - $5,400, DK - $4,300) - With Steven Smith Sr. expected to not play this opens up the targets for Pitta to get more than normal. His prices on both sites are a bit of a salary relief instead of paying for the bigger names in Olsen, Walker, Gronk, and Kelce. I don’t really expect his ownership to be too low as there aren't many options at that cost besides Ertz and Fleener, which I consider more of a gamble. With Giants still a team that can get dominated in the middle lanes I would expect Pitta to hit value this weekend.

Other Options: Delanie Walker, Greg Olsen, Travis Kelce, Zach Ertz

Philadelphia Eagles (FD $4,500, DK - $3,100) - What a surprise this is that Philly has a defense. They square up this week against the Redskins that are implied 21 points. I more like this pick due to Reed most likely being out and which gives Cousins even less to work with against a top defense. I expect Cousins to struggle in turnovers as they will probably be playing catch up against Wentz and crew as they tear the Redskins D up.

Other Options: Buffalo, Tennesse, Seattle
